Climate change resilience: scenario planning workshop - March

Join fellow directors at a scenario planning workshop on climate change resilience in partnership with Chapter Zero, the Directors' Climate Forum.

The workshop considers how to develop scenarios to illustrate the potential business impacts of climate change action and the risks and opportunities, translating this into changes in company value and cash flow.

Experts from the Carbon Trust will cover how you can assess your company's resilience to climate related impacts and how to build a dynamic framework to capture the up/downside impacts for your company on the transition to a sustainable, low carbon economy.

There will also be the opportunity to network with fellow Non-Executive Directors on these issues.

Covid-19 virus (Coronavirus) and Carbon Trust events

We have recently changed our guidance on the Covid-19 virus (Coronavirus) and Carbon Trust events. The health of the Carbon Trust’s clients, staff and organisations supporting our events is our primary concern and we are therefore taking the precaution of asking that all event attendees inform us if they have been to SE Asia, China, Japan, South Korea or Iran in the last 14 days, or lockdown areas in Northern Italy since 19th February.

If you have visited these areas in the last 14 days, we regret that you will not be able to attend our event in person, even if you do not currently have any Covid-19 virus symptoms. We will endeavour to make the event accessible remotely, or make materials available to those unable to attend, but as you may appreciate this may not always be possible.

In addition to the advice for those who have recently travelled to the countries listed, if you are concerned that you may have Covid-19 symptoms (a fever, sore throat or cough and shortness of breath) please do not attend the event, and seek medical advice.
